Lorenzi Park Renovations Update
Work continues at Lorenzi Park where Phase 2 of a $30 million renovation project is nearing completion. Councilman Barlow toured the construction site recently and wanted to share some photos of the exciting work going on. The park, located at Washington Avenue and Twin Lakes Drive, will feature a new playground, the largest splash pad in the city of Las Vegas, twin lakes and a band shell among other amenities. Lorenzi Park has been an oasis for Las vegans dating back to 1912 and the history of the property will be represented by several historical markers and placards. The renovations are expected to be completed in June, and information on a grand opening celebration will be coming soon. View renovation photos and rendering
