Wastewater Utilities Supervisor - This position plans, schedules, coordinates, prioritizes, assigns, directs, inspects and supervises the work of staff responsible for installing, testing, calibrating, modifying, maintaining, repairing and servicing heavy industrial electrical and electronic equipment including low-to-medium voltage three-phase systems and equipment, photovoltaic systems, variable frequency drives, uninterruptible power supply, devices, industrial instrumentation systems, controls, machinery and heating/ventilation/air conditioning (HVAC) equipment used in the treatment of wastewater and production of re-use water; to oversee and participate in all work activities; and to perform a variety of technical and administrative tasks related to assigned area of responsibility.

Municipal Court Marshal (Lateral) - Municipal Court Marshals serve as Peace Officer for the Municipal Court; perform a variety of sworn law enforcement related duties including serving arrest warrants, subpoenas, and other court orders; make arrests; and maintain order in the court and transport prisoners to court and jail. 

Lifeguard – Lifeguards monitor pool activities to ensure patron safety, enforce rules, prevent accidents, and provide first aid when needed. They support daily pool operations by maintaining a safe environment, assisting with programs and events, and completing required training and swim testing standards.

Assistant City Traffic Engineer – The Assistant City Traffic Engineer helps lead and manage the Transportation Engineering Division by overseeing programs, projects and staff that support the city’s transportation systems and infrastructure. This role coordinates with departments and outside agencies, manages budgets and operations and provides high-level technical, administrative and leadership support to Public Works leadership.

Firefighter Trainee – Firefighter Trainees participate in a structured academy to learn firefighting, rescue and emergency medical procedures while preparing to respond to emergencies and operate equipment safely. They train to perform fire suppression, rescue operations and station duties while meeting physical, technical and certification requirements to advance to Firefighter.
