Cause of fire: Appears accidental possibly electrical in nature either starting in a golf cart or battery charger.

General information about the incident: The building is used for two purposes: One is for a storage garage for golf carts, of which approximately 21 were parked inside during the fire. Another part of the building is used for a retail Pro Shop that is separated by walls. The shop had a smoke odor to it. No one was in the garage portion today. People smelled smoke but thought it was due to California fires. They then noticed heavy smoke and flames coming out of a vent. The fire appears to have started in a corner of the garage where one golf cart was parked. The fire may have been electrical in origin; investigators believe the fire was accidental in nature.
