The public is invited to Culture Clash, an invitational art exhibit where artists were asked to interpret specific definitions of the words “Culture” and “Clash.” There will be work in a mixture of media and styles. The exhibit opens on Sept. 12, 2008, at the Bridge Gallery in Las Vegas City Hall, located at 400 Stewart Avenue. This exhibit is free and open to the public.
Exhibiting artists are: Steven Baskin, Diane Bush, Andreana Donahue, Mary Lou Evans, Amanda Farrar, Suzanne Forestieri, Darius Kuzmickas, Alfonso Lirani, Ayako Ono, Jim Pink, Deirdre Pope, Aldema Ridge, David Sanchez, Fred Sigman, Robin Stark, Marty Walsh and Joseph Watson
The exhibit runs through Nov. 14 and is presented by the city of Las Vegas Office of Cultural Affairs. The Bridge Gallery is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and closed Sundays and holidays. Call (702) 229-1012 for more information.
