General information about the incident: The owner of the home told fire investigators he was home, asleep when an alarm system woke him and advised of smoke. He crawled out a window on to a small roof over the garage waiting for help. When no one came, he went back into the house and downstairs where he found the aftermath of a fire in the living room. He called his father who came to the scene. His father then called 9-1-1. It appears to fire investigators that the fire in the house was intentionally set. The fire is under investigation. There were no injuries reported.
