Ward 4 Old Fashioned Fall Festival In Las Vegas Promises Memorable Family Fun Nov. 14
Residents Invited To Enjoy Food, Games And Festive Atmosphere

Residents are invited to enjoy the Ward 4 Old Fashioned Fall Festival on Saturday, Nov. 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Wayne Bunker Family Park, 7351 W. Alexander Road. The festival promises memorable family fun just like “back in the good old days” including: sack races, face painting, a Hula-hoop contest, caramel apples, a balloon artist, cake walk and jump-house.  A deejay and community youth groups will provide entertainment.

Local food, craft and community vendors will offer goods for sale. The Las Vegas Farmers’ Market will sell fresh regional produce and other goodies. Attendees are also invited to contribute to a food drive to benefit those who are less fortunate.

“We’ve planned a special event so residents can experience the kind of old fashioned fun that creates lifetime memories,” said Councilman Stavros S. Anthony, who represents this area of Ward 4. “Getting people to come together to enjoy their community and their neighbors is great for families and for strengthening the fabric of our city.”

The city of Las Vegas has many events and facilities that offer a wide range of activities for residents to enjoy. For more information, visit the city Web site at www.lasvegasnevada.gov.
