The city of Las Vegas is holding an outreach meeting in preparation for the upcoming solicitation for Nevada licensed Engineering and Architectural professional services for the 2012–2014 Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) term.
At the meeting, attendees will learn about the city’s SOQ process and speak to representatives regarding the specific professional service categories being solicited.
The meeting will be held on Jan. 24, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. in Las Vegas City Hall’s Human Resources Training Rooms. The training rooms are located on the second floor of City Hall, 400 Stewart Ave.
The professional services being solicited for are roadway engineering, traffic design engineering, flood control engineering, sanitary sewer engineering, wastewater treatment plant design, geotechnical engineering, material testing and inspection, subsurface utility engineering, parks/landscape design, buildings, and architectural and engineering construction management.
SOQ submittals will be accepted from applicants from Jan. 31 – March 29. A ranking process will then create professional service category lists from which firms may be selected for city Capital Improvement Projects starting in the new cycle – July 1, 2012, to June 30, 2014.
