Join Las Vegas Ward 6 Councilman Steven D. Ross for a free Friday night movie in the park at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 28, at the Centennial Hills Park Amphitheatre, located at 7101 N. Buffalo Drive.

“Now that evenings are cooler and school is back in session, Friday night is a perfect time to enjoy the park together with family and neighbors,” Councilman Ross said.

The PG-rated family movie, “The Lorax,” begins after dark and is sponsored by Sam’s Club. Refreshments will be sold by Sam’s Club to raise funds for the non-profit American Lung Association. HomeFree Nevada will provide children’s activities. Bring a cozy blanket or low folding chairs to be more comfortable during the film. The event flier is available online.
