Everyone is invited to Gary Reese Freedom Park Friday, Oct. 12, for a concert of Spanish-language music by Banda Zacatecana de Tony Flores. Named for the central state of Zacatecas, Mexico, the band was founded by longtime Las Vegas resident Tony Flores. The group will perform a wide selection of original music as well as all-time favorites, including rancheras, corridos, cumbias, ballads and boleros. The 90-minute concert is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Admission is free. A food vendor will be available at the park, which is located at 850 N. Mojave Road at Washington Avenue.
This concert is a presentation of the city of Las Vegas Arts Connection program, which brings performances to outdoor locations throughout the city using the Showmobile stage. See the flier
